Inc. (Head office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and CEO: Kentaro Imai; hereinafter referred to as IOS) has been selected for the feasibility study of the &#8220;Green industrial recovery project for Ukraine through technology transfer from and the co-creation of new businesses with Japan\u2019s private industries\u201d implemented by UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Organization).<\/p>\n<p>For this project funded by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan, and implemented by UNIDO, an organization of the United Nations selected Japanese companies through a public call for proposals that possess technology that could contribute to Ukraine&#8217;s industrial recovery and reconstruction.<\/p>\n<p>Selected companies will investigate the feasibility of applying their unique technologies in the context of Ukraine, with &#8220;reconstruction and co-creation of new businesses&#8221; as the keyword.<\/p>\n<p>The ultimate goal is for Japanese companies to collaborate with Ukrainian partners, for creating employment opportunities there, and contribute to the recovery of the Ukrainian economy, which has been devastated by the ongoing war.<br \/>\nThe purpose is also to provide support for transferring knowledge and skills of the proposed technology in these fields beyond what is currently available.<\/p>\n<p>We, IOS, will use our demining technology using compressed air to support mine clearance in Ukraine, and investigate the feasibility of implementing a business plan to deploy our robotic DMR within Ukraine and in neighboring mined countries.<\/p>\n<p>The project feasibility study will be conducted for one year, starting in September of this year.<br \/>\nUkraine is currently the country with the largest number of mines in the world.<br \/>\nAs a result, there is a need to immediately support Ukraine&#8217;s efforts for mine clearance in a safer and more rapid manner.<br \/>\nWe will continue to participate in the UNIDO&#8217;s project so that our technology will contribute to supporting the Ukraine&#8217;s reconstruction.<\/p>\n<p>Web\uff1a<a href=\"https:\/\/ios-robot.com\/\">https:\/\/ios-robot.com\/\/en\/<\/a><br \/>\nContact\uff1a<a href=\"https:\/\/ios-robot.com\/en\/contact\">https:\/\/ios-robot.com\/contact<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u3010partner institutions\u3011<br \/>\n\uff08Ukraine\uff09<br \/>\n\u3000UADAMAGE LLC<br \/>\n\u3000The HALO Trust<br \/>\n\uff08Japan\uff09<br \/>\n\u3000Koei Resarch &#038; Consulting Inc.<br \/>\n\u3000Deloitte Tohmatsu Risk Advisory<\/p>\n<p>UNIDO\uff1a<a href=\"https:\/\/www.unido.org\/girp-ukr-jpn\">https:\/\/www.unido.org\/girp-ukr-jpn<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) is implementing a number of technical cooperation projects under the umbrella of Green Industrial Recovery Programme for Ukraine 2024-2028 from the ongoing war.
